Gemma Parker is a poet and teacher at the University of Adelaide, where she is a PhD candidate at the JM Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice. Her work appears in Award Winning Australian Writing, the Mascara Literary Review, the Writ Review, Tokyo Poetry Journal and Transnational Literature. In 2016 she won the Shoalhaven Literary Award for Poetry. A project manager of the Raining Poetry in Adelaide festival, she is a founding member and editor of Saltbush Review.
