Simone King (she/her) is a poet and editor living on Wurundjeri country, Naarm/Melbourne. Simone’s words have been published in Rabbit, Cordite, Plumwood Mountain, Right Now and several print poetry anthologies. Simone won the 2022 Blake Poetry Prize and the 2021 Woorilla Poetry Prize. Simone coedited What we Carry: Poetry on Childbearing, Recent Work Press, 2021. She has spoken and performed her poetry at Sydney Writers’ Festival and Queensland Poetry Festival.
