Welcome to Issue 11 of StylusLit. In this issue we have a few interviews that will certainly interest. We catch up with Melbourne-based poet, Angela Costi, who talks about her new book and her practice. Not sure where to start when publishing a poetry collection? We interview two poetry publishers, Stephen Matthews OAM, Ginninderra Press and Shane Strange, Recent Work Press.
We include poems by Angela Costi, and Shane Strange as well as work from David Adès, Edward Caruso, Natalie Damjanovich-Napoleon, B.R. Dionysus, Willo Drummond, Marcelle Freiman, John Grey, Justin Lowe, Gershon Maller, Peter Mitchell, Hayden Pike, Brendan Ryan, Brenda Saunders, Pam Schindler and Cyril Wong.
There’s short fiction from Patrick Eades, James Hannan, Gemma Parker, and Mike Wilson. The fiction has been co-edited by Andrew Leggett, and our incoming editor, Gershon Maller. Read more in About.
Finally, read reviews of Anne Casey’s Portrait of a Woman Walking Home, Angela Costi’s An Embroidery of Old Maps and New, Vanessa Page’s Botanical Skin, Melinda Smith’s Man-Handled, and Jane Williams’ Points of Recognition.
Happy reading!
