B.R. Dionysius was founding Director of the Queensland Poetry Festival. He has published four collections of poetry, two chapbooks, an artist’s book and a verse novel. His ninth collection, ‘Critical State’ was published in 2022. He was short-listed in the 2013 and 2017 Montreal International Poetry Prize. His tenth, and eleventh poetry collections – “The Eromanga Sea” (Calanthe Press) and ‘Not for Heroics’ (Liquid Amber Press) will be published in 2026. His twelfth book, “Extinction Sonnets” will be published in 2027 (Walleah Press).
