Dr Gershon Maller, author of two collections, won the 2023 AAALs poetry prize and was runner up for the 2022 Blake Poetry Prize. Shortlisted for the 2026 Newcastle Poetry Prize, and longlisted for the current 69th Blake Prize, his work appears in the Newcastle and ACU anthologies, Antipodes, Going Down Swinging, Meanjin, StylusLit, TEXT, The Wallace Stevens Journal, and national newspapers. Maller’s metaphysical poetry is often informed by the Holocaust.
