Jena Woodhouse is in certain respects a transcultural poet, having studied and used several European languages apart from English, and having also spent time in a number of other countries, including England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Bulgaria, the former Yugoslavia, Hungary, Germany, Russia, Turkey, and particularly Greece, where she lived and worked for more than ten years. However, her place of birth and current residence is Queensland. She is the author of twelve published books and chapbooks across several genres, seven of which are poetry titles.
