Phil Brown is a journalist and author who has written for a variety national and international publications including literary journals such as Meanjin and Griffith Review . He has written a number of books including two collections of poetry. His most recent book is The Kowloon Kid: A Hong Kong Childhood published by Transit Lounge in 2019. He has been covering the arts in Australia in the mainstream media for nearly four decades and is currently Arts Editor at The Courier-Mail in Brisbane.
