Philip Neilsen is a poet, author and editor who has published sixteen books. He teaches poetry writing at the University of Queensland. His sixth collection of poetry, Wildlife of Berlin was shortlisted for the 2019 Kenneth Slessor Prize. His awards include an Australian Notable Book Award, the Philip Bacon Ekphrasis Prize and an Australia Council fellowship.
