Pym Schaare was born in Berlin and has published a poetry collection Since Then (1996), a social commentary about relationships, The Mutual Orgasm: co-written with Judy Rose (2003), and her debut novel, Shadows under her shoes (2012). These works evoke emotional links to her life experiences. She is a PhD candidate in Creative Writing at University of Queensland.
