Lesley Carnus lives in Chippendale, NSW. She co-ordinates a program for asylum seekers and refugees (RLP) at the University of Sydney and her poetry tells of asylum, grief; and of course, love, loss and neighbourhood. Despite the despair of witnessing Australia’s inhumanity to the most vulnerable in our community, Lesley is at times, a joyful person.Her poetry has been published in Cordite, Contrapasso Magazine, pacificReview (USA), ArtAscent (North America), Grieve and Hermes.
